RCAHMS: RIAS (McKean) Shearer and AnnandCollection
Shearer and Annand, an architectural practice based in Dunfermline, designed a new grandstand for Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, which opened in 1962.
The drawings produced by the practice detail the practicalities of the project showing the site layout, foundation plan, and seating arrangements for over 3000 spectators. In addition they produced this lively sketch visualising the action around the entrances on match day as the football fans arrive to enjoy an afternoon of sport.
